Capture images from all the TWAIN compliant scanner and webcam devices. It has the ability to adjust the scanner image resolution (DPI) and the ability to adjust the scanner pixel type, True color, B/W Color, Gray color etc.
Features: This component is for Windows developers who need to capture image from scanner and secure PDF, add annotation with PDF in c#,c++ vb.net , vb, delphi, vfp, access. You would be able to capture images from all the TWAIN compliant scanner and webcam devices. Image formats these images can be saved into include BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PCX, PNG, TIF, TGA, PGX, RAS, PNM files.
It supports JPEG compression with TIFF file. PDF files can be secured with 40 or 128 bit RC4 encryption and user and owner passwords. Other PDF security measures like printing, high quality printing, changing of the document, content copy or extraction, filling of forms etc also can be controlled.
You can build controls through this components about controlling the scanner resolution in DPI, or the pixel type such as true color, B/W color or Grey scale. Control of the ADF feeder can also be built into the application you are building. The component provides hooks for enabling and disabling of duplex scanning. Zoom in/out and rotating of images can be supported. Saving the scan as multi page TIF including Packbits, LZW, CCITT G.3 and G.4 or true multi-color PDF images. You can an application feature such as writing multi-line text over the images in 50 different text styles. It`ll let you write binary data to embed images into databases like Access, SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL.
